In/Activity

Welcome again. I spent much of the fall and winter (do we capitalize these) with scholarly activities and writings deemed fit for consumption elsewhere. Having finished my second Master’s in December I’m also quite occupied these days with the job search. That would ideally lead to work somewhere in the library and information realm, including work related to art/art history and musicology.But, it may also give me time to rethink the scope of this blog and actually turn it into something, you know, on the side. Nothing too ambitious, mind you, but musings and leftovers that carry their own sidesaddle weight.In a few weeks, I’ll be going to Vermont and the Northeast to interview Bill Dixon, Rob Mazurek and Allen Lowe. Though the fruits of this endeavor will mainly see the light of day in Signal To Noise, I may publish raw, uncensored interview text here, or things that go in different tangents from the article.Anyway, it will soon be time for the BRB to uh, brb.
